Union County, South Carolina: Edwards, “N.C. Materials,” in N.C. Hist. Rev. VII, 384; Crozer MS, pp. 38-41, Furman MS, pp. 42-3; the Furman manuscript gives 1759, the Crozer manuscript 1760, as the date of migration and organization of Broad River Church; of the thirteen members of the group going on to Fairforest none seemingly obtained a survey or grant on Broad River; Philip Mulkey had a survey of 400 acres made Dec. 9, 1762, In the fork between Broad and Saluda Rivers on Fairforest Creek, a branch of Tyger River (Plats, VII, 364) confirmed to him by grant of June 7, 1763; he later bought land in the section which came to S.C. by exchange with N.C. in 1772, on the south side of Tyger River which was resurveyed by South Carolina in 1773 (Memorials, VI, 144; XIII, 456; CJ, Nov. 9, 1764); Joseph Breed had surveyed July 15, 1765, 100 acres on a branch of Fairforest Creek on the road to Wofford’s ford (Plats, VIII, 57); Benjamin Gist 500 acres on Fairforest Creek at the mouth of a branch called Sugar Creek Mar. 5, 1768 (Ibid., IX, 215); Charles Thompson 200 acres on the north side of Tyger River Oct. 12, 1765 (Ibid., X, 166); Thomas Thompson 150 acres on the north side of Tyger River touching Charles Thompson’s land Oct. 21, 1772 (Ibid., XX, 337); Obediah Howard 450 acres on branches of Fairforest and Sugar Creek on Feb. 17, 1773 (Ibid., XVII, 113); no plats were found for Stephen Howard or Rachel Collins, who, together with those above and the wives of Philip Mulkey, Joseph Breed, Benjamin Gist, Stephen Howard, and Obediah Howard, made up the thirteen constituents. http://www.landmarkbaptist.org/documents/South_Carolina_Baptists_Leah_Townsend.pdf

Will of Thomas Thompson State of South Carolina, York County January 7, 1794.
In the name God, Amen, I Thomas Thompson of York County and state of South Carolina being of perfect mind and memory through the mercy of the God do make this my last will and testament in a manner and form following. First, I bequeath my Soul into the hands of a merciful Redeemer and my body to be buried at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named and as touching those worldly goods  wherewith the Lord has been pleased to Bless me with. First I bequeath this tract of land that I now live on to Thomas and John Thompson my sons and I bequeath to my son John one bed with all the furniture belonging to it and likewise a black mare, and I bequeath to my daughter Phanney a Negro girl named Cate and a bed with all belongings to it and a cow and calf, and I will that my four Negros  and all the movables Estate not heretofore mentioned be sold and equally divided between my six daughters Sarah Wright; Mary Tatum; Anna Wright; Elizabeth Reeves; Rhody Perham; and Rebecca Reeves; and lastly I constitute and appoint Duncan Sinclair and William Wright my Executors to this my last will and testament in Witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this ninth Day of August one thousand seven hundred and ninety-three. Thomas Thompson was born in 1726. He died after August 09, 1793 (will date) in York, SC, but before January 7, 1794 (probate date).

Thomas had six daughters:
Phanney Thompson: She might be Francis or Fanny Thompson.
Phanney or Frances or Fanny Thompson was born: 28 Nov 1776 in York Co., South Carolina Death: 23 OCT 1825 in York Co., South Carolina.
Sarah Thompson married Wright, her son: William Wright. A listing in York Co., SC in 1793 of both Sarah Thompson Wright and Anna Thompson Wright are in court for case #64 probate of a Will.
Mary Thompson married Tatum. Barnett Tatum (son of John Tatum and Ann Wright) was born 1741, and died 1853. He married Mary Thompson on August 02, 1778 in Granville Co. North Carolina, daughter of Thomas Thompson.

A child of Barnett Tatum and Mary Thompson was Ira Tatum, b. Abt. 1797, NC, d. July 1826, Sumner Tennessee. Sarah and Anna were sisters who both married Wrights - Sarah to Bartlett and Anna to John Wright. Sarah and Anna's father Thomas Thomasson (Thompson).
Anna Thompson married  John Wright in Granville County, NC.
Elizabeth Thompson married William Reeves-not proved.
Rhoda  Thompson b. c. 1766 married Richard Parham (Rhoda Thomson 26 Dec 1788; married 2nd Moses I. Harkey in Yell County AR.
